An APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) Certificate is a registration certificate issued by APEDA, a government body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It is mandatory for businesses engaged in the export of scheduled agricultural and processed food products from India.
Every Food Business Operator (FBO), such as entities or persons involved in manufacturing, preparation, selling, transportation, distribution and storage of food articles/products, are also mandatorily required to have an FSSAI registration to carry on their food business.
IEC (Importer Exporter Code) certificate is a mandatory business identification number issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), India, for businesses involved in the import and export of goods and services. It is a 10-digit code that remains valid for a lifetime and is required to clear customs, receive shipments from foreign countries, and conduct international trade transactions.
A GST (Goods and Services Tax) Certificate is an official document issued by the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department of India after a business successfully registers under GST. It serves as proof of GST registration and includes the GST Identification Number (GSTIN), which is necessary for businesses to collect and remit GST.
An NPOP (National Programme for Organic Production) Certificate is an official certification issued by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It ensures that agricultural products are grown and processed according to organic farming standards in India.
